Marcus, we all know that ur economy grows when u have access to oil. With out it, ur economy will frail. Sure part of being in iraq is for oil, and we all know what a wicked terror nuclear regime can do and affect the flow of oil, u think saudi arabia and kuwait and the other oil rich nations are ok with a nuclear mula regime? why is are we not succeeding in iraq? A lot of reason, and one gig reason is the meddling of the iranians, they do not want a democratic, prosperous iraq. Fact, not fiction.

I think, based on Pinky's answer, that she is the most politically-educated person on this answer board. She knows and understands so much, that we, simple humans, should just shut up, listen to her, put her right up there next to nasralla, and pray facing her.

First if there was enough land to live side by side in peace, then why thoughout history have most wars been fought because of land? Because you didn't like your neighbour? I wish what you said was true, but history and current events prove you wrong.

"Give me one good reason why iran is good for ur country and the politics in ur country???? "
-You are not asking the right question.
Do you honestly think that this is just between the U.S. and Iran. Many other countries have dealings with Iran and the U.S. fighting Iran may affected those countries' dealings with Iran. We cannot go at it alone. The world is to globalized for those kind of tactics. Much like other countries, the U.S. has interest in other countries, interests that Iran would be able to hurt without directly fighting us. Another good reason is that if we fight Iran also, then we would be fighting wars on many fronts. That is a sure way to destroy a superpower. Take a look in history, you do not fight multiple wars on multiple fronts without multiple allies. We currently do not have the allies. America is not united enough for the cause to carryout a war of this scale right now.

Many people criticize Bush for misleading the public for why we should go to war. You must understand that. There are many bad/evil/ruthless leaders in the world. Look in South America, Africa, N. Korea, ect... Why did Bush choose Iraq. Why did Bush lie to the American people to invade Iraq. If your point is so validated, then there would have been no reason to lie.

Milo:
Agree for the most part with your additional details, but we could expand on Iran some more. Not only do they not want a democratic nation next to them, but they want to be the Middle Eastern Superpower. The U.S. fighting Iran by ourselves will not work. You have to remember, the president is supposed to represent the american people.
When you have a president that lies to the people, then does not own up to the lie, then bypasses all of our checks and balances to get what he wants, then ignores the voice of the American people, you could only expect criticism. This is not how our government is supposed to work.

The whole war scenario from 9/11 to present is under suspect. Former President said it is not good when there is secrets from the people and Bush seems to go ahead w/o people's approval and at times outright deceives US. You have to admit if he wanted to go to war he should have been well-advised. Our troops have always been short changed with back-up and equipment. Also the lack of backing the 2 border patrol agents who were cruelly thrown in prison with those they had arrested, for simply doing their job but stepping on somebody's toes is disgraceful. Only a few Reps have started a petition on their behalf & God bless them. Now what does that say about right & wrong?

Good question. I know Milo you do like my answers but I am so excited to answer this I think I will go for the straight to the point.

Iran "good" to Lebanon:

1- Trying to put hezbollah into power and start taking money from our govt. (they will claim they will protect us) - LOL
2- They pushed hezbollah to make the war last summer which turned out to make money Lebanese suffer and become poor, other than now the south lives with few electricity & water.
3- They made the opposition which has destroyed our economy and I know many people who wants to visit Lebanon but they are scared because they are in Beirut sitting doing nothing but hurt our economy.
4- They don't want to know the truth of Hariri's murder.

What more do we want, we should really thank them.

4 main steps but I am sure there are more.

God Bless Lebanon

The Devil is the great deceiver. It is written in the Holy Bible that during the last days the deceiver will deceive the faithful. Is that not what we see with Bush? Jesus preached for peace, but Bush is all for wars. Jesus preached charity towards the poor but Bush takes from the poor to enrich the already wealthy. And claims to be a Christian while doing these obviously anti-Christian things. He may not be the anti-Christ, but he is doing a very good imitation.

Im not a Bush fan, but the next soft president is going to pull the troops out of the middle east and the killing and unrest in that area will continue unchecked, until they get some other non democratic regime in power (like ol Sadaam)...

The main reasons for going into Saddam's country in the first place, was the LIE of weapons of mass destruction. The reason Bush hasn't gone after Bin Laden: his family are friends with the Bin Laden family. So instead of using the real reasons and going after Bin Laden, Bush used Saddam's dictatorship to get us into a war we have no business being in.
Yes, Saddam was a dictator, yes, he commited genocide, yes, he was a "bad man." But, there are multiple dictators in the world. There are countries where genocide happens EVERY day. There are countries who are led by "bad" men and women all over the world. The main reason for being in Iraq and Iran is not weapons of mass destruction, not the genocide, and not the dictator, it is simply this: the Bush family is in oil, that countries oil was threatened. Therefore, Bush decided to get us into that country under false pretences to save the oil, not the people! We should be angry at Bush and his cronies, not at the poor people who have had to live under war for so long.
I also agree with one of the other people that answered. Why is it the United State's business to get involved with other countries and policing them? When there are people right here in this country who are being imprisoned under false pretenses, starving children, bigotry and hatred that needs to be resolved, lying politicians in office, and little or no health care?
Why isn't the leadership of the United States trying to fix our own problems instead of spending BILLIONS of dollars (OUR TAX DOLLARS) overseas?
It has nothing to do with the so-called devil. It's mismanagement of this government.

I TOTALLY agree with u! Iran and Syria want OUR land! I am not against Saddam's execution I mean the guy got what he deserved!! Many lebanese people are with Iran (in other words ; Hezbollah and Michel aoun) and are against America because they think that America is after Lebanon and want to do the same thing they did in Iraq . But, what about Iran and Syria???? I mean hello!!! Like they pray for Lebanese people and peace in Lebanon......yeah right!!! WAKE UP! they're the ones who are killing lebanese politicians, so this way Lebanon will become weak and Syria or Iran will invade Lebanon and rename it as thier own!

I do not blame bush for saddam's execution if thats what you mean. Maybe hanging him was wrong, a little inhumane and perhaps provoked violence but I do not blame bush for it.

am sure he has done a lot to be hated by so many people but I can't really comment on it because I can go on for a long time.. maybe too long.

Milo....I have missed your angry tantrums...

guess what? you're right, Iran is not good for our country. but this doesn't in a million years make your lunatic moron of an idol any better.2 wrongs don't make a right.

here's a thought, we don't want either!
may God and Allah keep them both in good health for their own respective countries, but as far as we are concerned we want Iran, Syria, The US, Israel and all their allies, friends, cousins and extended families to find a different battlefield to flex their muscles and settle their differences.
