I get really frustrated and devastated seeing questions on the Egyptian forum that tend to make you feel ther questioner is abnormal, a retard, or an alien coming from a different planet. I usually see this coming only from Egyptians. Why?How? are they eating too much "foool" or what? not to forget about the very bad English used. I'm not trying to rude here, I'm a very proud Egyptian (and I eat beans too) but it just gets on my nerves how some are so dumb. I dont think they're playing dumb, I think that's how they really are,but how come? is it resulting from too much naiveity and ignorance? examples are previous questions asked like:
1. where is salah? (while same person answered a very unrelated question with "salah is dead"
2. how old are emad? (while u have no idea who emad is)
3.how I can find lovely and free girls?
4. how can i reach my girlfriend? (the asker posted her 1st name n expected us to know)
5. where is vivian alpha? (who is vivian alpha???)

A close friend showed me a website which had a picture that jumped out at me. It was in the late 1950's the US Marines were walking down a street in Beirut with a rebel (CSA battleflage). I found that picture very ironic for today. In the US that same flag is a lightening rod for debate. Is there any consensus in lebanon addresses the lebanese separatist groups flags? Wouldn't uniting under one Lebanese flag regardless of one's political views show some civic maturity as a nation. In the US we still have confederate flags hanging from flagpoles. People are still living in the past everywhere I guess.

What is your perspective about Middle Eastern men in the US or other 'westernized' country? Do you believe these relationships can last or are realistic? Do you think it matters whether it is an inter-faith relationship and how much will religion and culture weigh into this type of relationship? Why would Middle Eastern Muslim men want a relationship with an American girl (for example)? Is green card/citizenship the only reason? Why isn't it against Islamic religion for a Muslim guy to marry a non-Muslim girl? What do you think about 'westernized' Muslim men who go to clubs, drink alcohol, and date when in the US (for example)?

What are the chances of getting raped by a stranger? Or if not, by someone you know? Sure, I've always heard stories of the weird freak who walks around AUB in flip flops, or the taxi driver who literally wears no pants, but have you ever known somebody who has had the misfortune of getting raped in Lebanon? If yes, can you tell about it.
