Gotta go against the grain here. This is a PROFESSIONAL relationship -- you're not marrying the person. If I wanted to learn Arabic, should I avoid Saudi instructors because the terrorists in the 9/11 attacks were mostly Saudi? Nope.
This Israeli teacher is willing to teach you; you're willing to learn. That's all you need to know.

I wouldn't mind. I'm willing to benefit from anybody if not to say anything. I doubt that they have much to offer the Lebanese (other than advanced arms) though for the following reason.
Militarily speaking, the Israeli Army's doctrine of combat dictates that they rely heavily on armour, that is main battle tanks. This particular strategy is not very effective in Lebanon because of its terrain that makes it difficult for tanks to maneuver and hence become an easy target for anti-tank weapons. Lebanon is mostly either urban or mountainous which necessitates the rely on indirect fire (mortars) and infantry.
During the civil war, many groups received training in Israel.
Your question is somehow vague and not straight to the point. Can you clarify it please? This morning you posed another question related to Lebanese Militias (not that you are not entitled to pose as many questions as you like lol).
As a last word, I prefer to take classes which make me productive in society rather than taking destructive combat classes (unless I'm military and its my duty to take these classes).
You are most welcome.
Thank You!!

why would it matter? The only way this world is ever going to find peace is to put aside all the STUPID cultural biases people have against other countries and evaluate people on an individual basis, instead of what akbar the goatherder did to my ancestor 2500 years ago. We are all people, with different lives, we all love, we all want to live our lives.
It's all just so mindless.

webby I fell off my bed, my sides hurts due to giggling, thanks for that :-) that would have been my line, am a little bit particular about my nails but I had to take them off for the operation next week (sobs) its been traumatic. :-(
Anyhow, back to the question, I'm not high on politics, I dont judge people because of what history has done to these cultures. You cannot choose your roots, even if they are wrong
As for participating in military activities, the closest I'd do is watch Goldie Hawn's "Private Benjamin" again..Fantastic movie!
