my father in law is 50 this year and the mother in law has booked him a secret trip to kenya, and once a month she gives him a clue, not too obvious but enough to keep him guessing.... problem is she has run out of clues, can you guys help? give us a good clue, and the one she uses gets 10 points, thanks guys,

She could give him some animal crackers (safari). That may be easy, so she may want to wait until it is more crucial for him to guess it!
The Masai people of Kenya always wear red. If you gave him something red, it would be difficult. Red beads would be a little easier, but probably still stump him.

To connect Kenya and the United States (to confuse him), you could give him something representing Great Britain and colonial rule, since Kenya also got independence from Great Britain.

The X-Box game "Halo" actually takes place in Mombasa, Kenya. I assume that he is not much of a gamer since he's 50, so something related to "Halo" the game would be confusing and connect to America (X-Box is American).
