Egypt is a presidential country the president nominates the prime minister who chooses the ministers.The government submits annual report to the Parliament. The majority political party is headed by the president this party roles almost everything in Egypt ministers,and businessmen.

In theory it is a presidential democracy. In practice it's a dictatorship supported by the US. Any president who runs for election without opposition and gets more than 90% of the vote can not represent a democracy. It is a military dictatorship
