So I'm planning to go to Times Square for New Years for 3 days and I decided the best way to avoid so much trouble I should just stay in a hotel in Newark, NJ or somewhere around there because it's cheaper. So my question is, how will I get Times Square? Train? Cab? Bus? I dont know!! What trains do I take? How much do they cost?

Btw, I'm from Delaware so Newark is only like 2 hrs away.


I plan on going to a Travel Agency if I don't work everything out on my own but I thought I'd get some humble advice from the Yahoo community!

When we became independent in 1947, we were not only independent from British oppression, but also Muslim oppression. Indians forget that before we were exploited by the British, we were being exploited by the Muslims, who according to me are just as foreign as British are.

Thr truth is that before India was independent in 1947, we hadn't been indpendent untill before the Delhi sultanate was established in 7th century.

So why do we only celebrate one independence day from british rule. Why don't we celebrate a second indepndence day to celebrate our independence from the muslim mughals, who were far more monstrous than the British

I have a short vaca planned and MANY and I mean MANY are saying DO NOT GO!! It is a very dangerous city for tourists as in pickpocketing and other things, I live close to Detroit and never feel unsafe walking downtown!! They say Detroit is like heaven compared to NO!! I have a friend Renee who told me back in the 70’s when she was a young woman, she would drive cars cross country because the owners would move and pay her to drive their cars to their location. Does anybody know about that? Does anyone know if that still goes on now? If it does, is there a specific website I can go to? I am very interested in taking a road trip but don’t feel like driving to my vacation destination and drive back to my location. I want to drive one way and fly back, or vice versa and renting a car is way too expensive.

Me and my boyfriend wants to move to washington d.c. or chicago. We want to buy a house in which ever state we choose. I just finished my courses as a medical assitant and he has years of experience in Retail. Which state has the most job opprtunities for medical assistant? Chicago or Seattle, Wa? What is the salary for medical assistants in both states? Will my boyfriend have a hard time finding a job in retail in any of the two states mentioned? What is the cost of living in those 2 states? How is it in the 2 states? Is it fun for young couples or geared more towards the family life? Do you think we should move there? We are looking to move there in about 4 or 5 years. Thanks
