I'm going to Curacao on my honeymoon. Anyone have any experience traveling there? Any tips or recommendations?

We will be staying in Willemstad and we've also reserved a car rental.

I've been to Curacao, they have a moving bridge in Willemstad. And some polluted water in the bay. Get outside of the town. Go see the Carib Indian Museum, they also have a cave you can explore. Curacao is a lot like Aruba. Get outside of town and explore the desert scenery and rock formations.

I went there with my family this summer, for our honeymoon too, sort of. We stayed at the Breezes Curacao resort. It was great. The people there are very friendly and accomodating. The island is great for shopping for shoes and clothing too. I would love to go back. I don't know where you guys would be staying since you didn't put in your question. There is alot to see there, and beautiful beaches.

I thought Curcao was much less "desert-like" than Aruba, actually. In Curcao make sure you avoid the refinery area - it can be "smelly" if the wind is the wrong direction.

Have fun!
