Is New York as expensive as everyone claims? Will it be that much of a shock if I move out that way without a job? What should someone coming from a relatively low income city - El Paso, TX, as far as financial situations are concernd?

My husband and I are going to need a sleeper train from Paris to Rome. Then, another from Rome to Frankfurt.

Is there a separate reservation fee? And a separate sleeper car cost? What should I expect to pay for this?

I recently read that to get a visa for tibet, you need to have plans with a travel company or a tour. My friend and I will be doing it on our own, but were wondering if we can get ahold of some place in India that will arrange a cheap "tour" for us so we can get the visa.

If so, does it matter if they live close to you.

If not, how do you make your travel plans?

OK well Im not sure if college is for me, but Im giving it 1 semester and if its not Im moving from Alabama to San Francisco and becoming a Fire Fighter until Im 21 and old enough to be a Police Officer.

I have always wanted to live their. Anyways I was going to ask these questions for alittle help:

1) What would be a suggested amount of money to save to get my by for a couple of months?

2) Would it be easy to get a job for a fire dept in San Francisco?

3) I kinda want the "Classical" San Francisco Apt. but if I cant have that I atleast want to stay somewhere clean and with a good view. Any suggestions??

4) I have a car Mitisubishi Lancer 05 but I was thinking about selling it since Ive been told that parking is hell is this a good idea?? I need to be able to get to the Fire Dept...

Thanks
