I'm moving to DC and was wondering if a DC native could give me a rundown of their take on the various neighborhoods of DC.
Any info would be helpful - including Housing (architecture/rent) / crime/ nightlife/ restauraunts/ dog friendliness /parking

Is it considered rude or acceptable in Negril to ask to see the hotel room before deciding whether to stay or not?

he does not want a party he is in the band and stays on the go all the time......he travels all over the south eastern coast for band comp and battles....he is doing pretty good in school....want to do somthing nice for him he says he wants to go out of town and spend some money.....don't know really where to go.....we are in Augusta. GA .....where are all the good outlets......

I am referring to a quaint restaurant up in the mountains in Cambrils, Spain. It was just too picturesque for words and I had the best possible paella there. There were cherry trees al over, a lake in the mountains, a swing, so idyllic. And Pepe's was the nicest man ever.

Instead of joining the tour, let's say I and my family want to go to visit grand canyon, how would you recommend me to do?

1. book the hotel/air ticket and join tour from there or find all the information here first before we fly over there.
2. Join tour here (which I don't think I would)


So, that leaves no. 1 the answer.. How do you recommend me to find a hotel that has local tour or should I get a package deal from here in the state I am in first
