Quite honestly I wouldn't mind partying in either place as I have never been to either, but if I had to choose, I think.. um New York......

They're both great. It's hard to make a distinction. Are you going on vacation? California has a lot to offer, like beaches (great parties). New York has a lot to offer, great restaurants and bars (more great parties). If you want to add more info to your question let us know what exactly you're looking for.

It's California because there are lots of Mexicans and you can get anything for $5 on the right day. Plus, the weather is so nice.
