You can surely write a 30 page paper on this topic. Is this a homework question?
Anyway, there are certainly lots of changes going on everyday in China. From the perspective of rapid development and influence of foreign culture, I will list a few major ones.
1st, Chinese people's values towards life are changing. No longer people needs to worry about housing and food, so people are looking for more luxury entertainment and leisure to fulfill their lives. One obvious example is the greater number of Chinese who are now into backpacking traveling around the world. It used to be none-heard of 10 years ago. Another example is the increasing number of people regularly go to fitness centres. Last but not least, more and more people don't want to have children nowadays. Traditionally, that's considered an evil thought.
2nd, more and more laws and regulations are implemented properly to either fill the blanks or fix the loop holes that use to exist. With the society and the infrastructure maturing everyday, the legal system also needs to be updated constantly to maintain order and safety of the people and society.
3rd, the gap between the rich and poor is getting bigger. With the more freedom injected in the economy, a lot of people try their lucks in the "free water", but by the universal law of the free economy and statistics, only a small number will succeed. On the other hand, those who failed, and those who were still relying on the "good-old-big-machine" falls off the chart and becomes the have-nots.
4th, with the pressure from the west, and competition from foreign companies, Chinese companies and products are getting competitive as well in order to maintain market share. Chinese product has the reputation of cheap and bad-quality. That's changing especially after joining WTO. Companies and manufacturers realize that in order to succeed in the long run, quality and cost are both equally important.
5th, foreign policies are changing. Obviously, to be accepted by the world, you have to adapt a more friendly and diplomatic policy towards others.
That's all I can think of in the short time... I'm sure there are more... and I'm sure others have more to say as well....
Good luck...

China is steering towards the western culture while maintaining its own. The ecomony is booming and technology is more advanced. It has even surpassed US. It is a commericalized place unlike 20 years ago where it had nothing but plain land. It is now all buildings as high as 50th floor!
