Since 4 months I don't hear anything anymore about the new Health care scheme in Abu Dhabi.

Where can I get a fully and updated list of insurance companies recognized by GAHS (General Authority for Health Services)? My last is from July.

Will a health insurance also be mandatory for normal tourists?
I only found something saying about a policy for "emergengy for visitors". Will there be made an difference regarding "tourist" and "visitor". I heard a premium of DHS 600 depending to the duration of the visit.

Is it still the case that the employer has to bear all costs of the insurance for the employee, wife and up to 3 children?

Any links where I can check out?

Tanks for answers in advance.

I know you can view passenger airline flights very easily; I'm just wondering if anyone knows of a website where I can view the others. I don't see why they would be confidential.

I have heard before, and am aware that much of the older japan is a windy bunch of roads that are unlabled and unnamed. Is this true of all of japan?
Where I lived in Hokkaido it is set out all in grid system and you can buy mapbooks that have VERY detailed maps, all the way down to the outline of the house and gararge/carport and even has the names printed on them. Are the other parts of Japan like that? Or just the newer areas... I would be interested to know
They are not free, you have to buy them. We always had them, and most business have them. Its handy for looking for someone because all you need to know is the area and family name. If you know the fathers name, you can find the house perfectly.

Here I am sitting down by my desk listing down all the pros & cons of living in each city taking into account the cost of living, infrastructure, crime rate, traffic jam, cleanliness, anything & everything that affect our daily life. And in the end I say to myself, given a choice, which city would I choose to live in?
What's your preference?

I'm not asking about what you're allowed to take on the plane these days!

I want to take things for people to try - Christmas pud, shortbread, horseradish sauce, tea bags, etc. My question is whether I am allowed to take food into the country or are there restrictions on taking food from Europe to South America (packed in my suitcase)?

Or, does anyone know a website where you can look up customs restrictions between countries?

Thanks!
