Send mail to europe from states?

Hi i was wondering how do i go about sending mail to the U.K the cheapest way?

Use USPS surface mail. It is cheaper, but a lot slower than airmail.

Through the post office.

Are you sending a lot of mail? Because if it's just one or two letters, it's not very expensive.
