I see meat sold in the German grocery stores for remoulade. But I don't know how to prepare it, or what the other ingredients are needed. Any ideas?

What you're looking for is German roulade, not remoulade. The former is a type of tartar sauce.

Here is a fairly good recipe that was from a yahoo search:

In any event, it's a fairly easy recipe and served well with boiled or mashed potatoes.

If you're looking for a recipe for Rouladen: take the thin pieces of meat, spread a mild mustard all over it, put sliced onions, and then quartered pickles in the middle, wrap them up ( there are special wire contraptions, to keep the meat in a roll form ), and then fry it in a pan quick, so the pores are closed, and then my oma puts water in a pot, like... a quarter inch or so, not much, and keep adding it when it gets to be too little, and cook it until it is no longer pink.. maybe like 15-20 min or so.

If you're looking for a remoulade recipe: take mayo, add a tsp sugar, some sour cream, salt and pepper, cut up some pickles into tiny pieces, then see how it tastes. It tastes good on fries, meatballs.. etc.

the recipe is well, but they forgotten the chucked boiled egg (1 for 2 Ruladen), keeping the sauce in the rulade and add some extra protein. *G*

You may serve it with rice or spaetzle.
