We could fly from Stansted, Luton or Norwich, i want to keep the traveling time to a minimum, therefore don't ideally want a long transfer. Want to have 2 wks in a nice hotel, with facilities for my daughter ? Would consider self catering or all inclusive...Any suggestions would be welcomed. Thanks.

Hola todos,
going there for a week and wondering what clothes to pack? I'm assuming that you won't need your bikini but what's the common "dressing code"?
And also, how are Spanish celebrating the New Year?
Muchas gracias XX

Planning on going to Lake Tahoe in Feb with a group of friends who are big on skiing/snowboarding. I've never been there before and I'm not big on skiing so I'm looking for recommendations for other things for me to do there. I'm also interested in nightlife activities, restaurants, etc. Thanks!

I tried it earlier when I gave a cab driver the wrong directions to a place he had never heard of before (I said north instead of south) and got stuck on a deserted beach, I realised this after nobody turned up after a couple of hours and tons of people were supposed to be coming.

I had no credit so I tried to "0800 REVERSE" my friend's at mum's numbers and I could get through to any of them, exactly what is the point of 0800 REVERSE if there isn't a number that'll work on it, I tried tons of numbers, including a taxi service number I had in my phone and it wouldn't let me. I eventually had to walk for 3 hours in flip flops and bikini to my mate's house which I found out was near there after an hour, once I'd figured out where I was.

When I'm given a list of countries for whatever reason on a website, Holland and/or The Netherlands is never there. It may be small, but that isn't a reason to overlook it.

Need to be within 10-15 min (no more than 20 min) of Northwestern University. Have two kids, 3 and 18 months, so we want an area with lots of young families and kids. Have been told to look in Wilmette, as New Trier is a good high school and Romona is a good elementary school, but wondered what your opinions are. We prefer new construction. Any thoughts of actual neighborhoods that are really good to live in? Also been told to look around The Glen and areas just south of there in Glenview. Also wondered your thoughts on the schools (specifically New Trier vs. Glenbrook South or other) and elementary schools.

There will be three adults and one child, age 6. We will be there for five days and four nights. We want to stay at one of the disney resorts and also have our round trip plane tickets included in the package. We want to visit the ocean on at least one of the days and visit the actual disneyworld theme park at least two of the days of our vacation. Our travel spending limit cannot exceed two thousand dollars. Any suggestions?
