You should try the Outer Banks of North Carolina. The ocean and beaches are so beautiful! It's pretty much full of vacation homes and they're gorgeous! I've been and had the most amazing time of my life, next to vacationing at Walt Disney World with my boyfriend. It's so fun and beautiful there, you could easily spend a week just hanging out on the beach. Get an ocean-front home and you'll have an amazing view. You'll be able to see dolphins in the distance and pelicans. A fun thing to do is visit the Cape Hatteras Lighthouse. It's the tallest in the country. You can climb to the top. I think that's something everyone in the country should try to do in their lifetime, especially if they travel - climb the tallest lighthouse in the nation and visit the Outer Banks. It's a famous place - known as one of the best windsurfing spots on Earth.
Check out this website. It has hundreds of wonderful vacation homes in different towns on the Outer Banks. There's great pictures, floor plans, information about the area, etc., so you can easily plan your vacation from home, online if you'd like.

Well, normally I'd say somewhere in the Smoky Mountains, but not sure about that time of year. It could be snowy and icy.
Charleston or Myrtle Beach in South Carolina have temps from 37-60 avg. in Feb, so it may be pleasant there if you don't want to beach it. Or Atlanta is full of interesting sites, and is a hub so easy to reach.
Frankly, that time of year, you really could all convene in Orlando most easily, and have the most dependable weather. Cost and time wise if everyone is flying, it would probably be less expensive than short hops to somewhere in between. And the ones from PA should welcome a break from the winter. I'd suggest you start as soon as possible to book a place, as that is high season.
Avoid the over-priced Disney places. We enjoyed the Caribe Royale, but it is expensive that time of year (>$200 a night)
Good luck, it sounds like fun.
ADDED: Katlyn, love your suggestion. Would never have thought of it for February as I imagine it can be quite nippy there, but less touristy and more affordable. I see homes are available. So if the family doesn't mind cold winds, it could be a great spot. Are any of the restaurants open that time of year?

You would enjoy the famous Biltmore Estate in Asheville, North Carolina.
Another fun option would be Charleston, South Carolina.

The smoky mountains are beautiful. I would say Gatlinberg or Pigeon Forge. I do not think they take their Christmas lights down till Valentines day so if you get a chance to see them it is beautiful. i hope this helps.

the only super distinction between a "weigh down" and "falling in love" is the component of dedication in touch by potential of using the guy who makes use of the two term. in the event that they call it a "weigh down" they're thinking the involvement is minor and passing, in the event that they use the term "falling in love," it ability that it is extra intense and that they are thinking approximately making an investment time indoors the relationship.
