Any person from Malta please reply to me. What is the language spoken in Malta? What are the main tourist attractions in Malta? How many people live in Malta? Is tourism the main industry there?
I just see a couple of pictures of Malta and it was beautiful.

hey, I'm from Malta.
Maltese is th main language spoken in Malta, but almost everybody speaks english and other languages aswell ( so communicating won't be a problem)
There are different tourist attractions in Malta... depends on the time of year when you're gonna visit. There are loads of stuff to do during Summer.
Tourism is the main idustry here.
Some phrases:
What's your name? - X'jismek? ('x' is prounounced 'sh')
How are you? - Kif inti?
Good morning - Bongu
Good night - Bonswa or il-lejl it-tajjeb.

These are some websites which you can visit:

Im not Maltese but Ive lived in Malta for 5 years. Malta is very nice to visit in april, may, june/ september, october.
Dont come in july or august, its too hot (40 degrees) and the island gets over run with Italians..
Malta has a great night life if you come for a holiday, Im a bit bored with it now. The local food is delicious, similar to Italian food but with more pastries and fish dishes and rabbit dishes.
The locals are really friendly and nice to tourists and everyone can speak English, a lot can speak Italian too.
If you want to see some nice sights of Malta, watch some of the movies that were filmed here like Gladiator ,Troy, Cutthroat Island, Popeye, What we did on our Holidays, Munich. There are others that I cant think of right now.
Did you know there are 365 churches in Malta, one for every day of the year...!
Its a really beautiful place to visit, but today its been raining all day ...sigh...
Hope you decide to visit.

the main language here is Maltese but English is also an official language you will also find people who speak Italian /Arabic
yes tourism is the main industry her though it is a bit down at the moment due to less people flying due to terrorist scares in england etc
off hand the population is just under 400,000[there are more maltese in australia than their are in malta
their are some magnificent churches and historical buildings here [a few weeks ago i did some restoration work in what was napoloeons bedroom when he was here .the night life is pretty good .you may find the place pretty crowded and the traffic can be a nightmare but all in all its best to visit and see for yourself

i live here now too (unfortunately) main language is maltese but most speak english so no problems with that. tourism is the main industry but so many other countries have cleaner cities and cheaper prices that tourism has dropped off somewhat. Malta is very noisy and crowded and dirty (just at about 400,000 people) driving is insane and if you dont watch yourself you will be overcharged everywhere you go. The internet pictures can be decieving so its best to come and see for yourself.
