I am going to be in Phoenix one night and wanted to go out and have a great time. It will be a wednesday night the beginning of October. I would like to get lodgings in that area as well so it is accessible on foot. Any advice would be appreciated! Thanks!

now I wonder if I should stay in Boston and take the train daily to Salem with my teenage daughter, I'm afraid the traffic will be awful to drive back and forth, where could we stay in Boston that is close to train, and what hours does it run? Everytime I have ever been to a bookstore, I have never seen a travel book about Detroit. I see travel books about cities such as Atlanta, Chicago, Los Angeles, New York City, and Boston but I have always wonder why is the no travel books about Detroit? After all, Detroit is a major city in the United States.
