It's a great state with even greater folks. The only teeny, tiny, little problem is that your football team's got meanies on it that are pretty tough on our team. :)

My opinion is that it is the only state with a true "panhandle". I live in the "panhandle" of Nebraska and it does not look like a panhandle at all. Oklahoma has fascinating history as well - thank you because this answer to your question just got me to 500 and I think that is a good place to leave it for today.Have a Good One.

I would always think that yes, you have malls and cars and stuff, but I would still think of it as really small town-ish throughout the whole thing. Conservative, Republican, that kind of thing. A lot of trees. Maybe farms? And accents? People who hunt a lot?
I know these are probably silly, it's just what came into my mind.

You don't have cowboys and Indians? Are you putting us on?
Just kidding. I think of oil, horse ranches, alot of guys wearing boots, and malls. I had a friend in Ardmore and a friend in OK City. I know you guys have all the cool stuff. I live in Minnesota and people think we have snow year-round, and that we still use horse and buggy.

Flat farmland and lots of red necks pretty much sums up Oklahoma... oh and lots of trailer park destroying tornadoes.

Isn't that where "Deliverance" was filmed?? I always thought that was a biography, for Oklahoma, there can't be too much there, with a state motto, Oklahoma is ok.

And to coutryguy, if you are doing the speed limit you won't get stopped, so it's not a speed trap. Slow down and enjoy our scenery.
