I grew up here. I don't have any complaints about it. I love it here and don't plan on moving any time soon. rent is reasonable in the suburbs. Anywhere you live, there's probably going to be a park or somewhere to enjoy the outdoors within 30 minutes of you. I like taking day trips to Hot Springs for a change in scenery once in a while. There's plenty to do there, too. Little Rock is getting bigger by the second, so there's more to do here every time you turn around. (more shops, restaurants, mainstream entertainment, etc.) The music scene is good, the entertainment (such as bars and clubs) is good. The only thing that sucks sometimes is that it is so small, so everyone knows everyone else. But hey, sometimes that can be really useful.

It's an ok place. The people are alright, depending on the scene you're into.
Job market is small. You better have something going for you to get a very high paying job.

ARE YOU THINKING ABOUT MOVING THERE I LIVE ABOUT 60 MILES AWAY. I HATE ARKANSAS BUT I WAS ALSO BORN AND RAISED THERE AND MOVED AWAY AND MOVED BACK SO I HAVE SEEN BETTER PLACES! PARTS OF LITTLE ROCK IS OKAY AND THERE ARE PARTS THAT ARE GHETTO. THERE IS A LOT OF DIFFERENT THINGS TO DO IN LITTLE ROCK. I GO THERE A LOT TO SHOP AND ENTERTAINMENT BECAUSE MY SMALL TOWN DOESN'T HAVE ANY OF THAT. GOOD LUCK ! I HOPE I HAVE BEEN HELPFUL IN ANYWAY! ANYMORE QUESTIONS I WILL BE HAPPY TO ANSWER THEM!

i used to live there years ago and i liked it then but i know it has changed my in laws live in hot springs and go there often they say its still very nice i remember the people being nice to
