I'm looking to go traveling around the world. I'm flying out to Istanbul, and then going onto Egypt. I was wondering if there is a cheaper way to get there than flying?

If money is not an object, what time of the year is the most enjoyable time to go to Manhatten, NYC? A certain month or season or even around an event would be helpful. Also helpful is when to most avoid NYC due to bad weather or bad reputation.

i am an American living in Europe. I have been to many of the countries and every time i go to a store ( even if i attempt the language and blend in) the cashier, etc. seem rude. I know that customer service is valued more in USA but why wouldnt europeans want to have great customer service so they could have more business?
