Oxford --- they are both famous and have lots to do and see - Oxford does not have the bad reputation like Cambridge has - the Cambridge Five came from cambridge uni - the five spies that worked for the soviets and chinese communists gave away secrets to the H Bomb and aided the chineses in the korean war

Are you speaking as a tourist? Oxford is bigger and has a bit more of a buzz (Cambridge was only a town until the 1950s), but Cambridge is more beautiful. Its trump card is King's College chapel, with the world's biggest fan vault ceiling. If you go, you should also see Clare college fellows' garden, Trinity college library, and the view from the top of Great St Mary's.

Oxford.I find it more interesting than Cambridge. In addition,Cambridge has a very high suicide rate compared to Oxford and they say that's because the city is darker and gloomier.Of course both cities are beautiful, but I prefer Oxford.

If you're choosing because of the university, do not merely judge the city as you may have a good time, but the course that you're taking may not be as good.

Check to see if your preferred specialisation is available in the university first. Both universities may be prestigious, but one may not be as good or may not have a specific course that you're interested in.

If you plan to move there and have nothing to do with the universities, WHY?. There are better places to move to without too many kids from uni around.
