This time next year I'll be (hopefully if I get accepted) attending UCLA, or otherwise Loyola Marymount, but either way I'll be living in LA. I see myself probably straying from the college social scene and hanging out more in LA than on campus. What should I expect when I make the move? I've never actually been there before because I live so far away (New York) so I'm basically clueless. I'll be visiting sometime this school year though.

Planning a Vegas trip...any tips?

I'm celebrating my 21st with some friends in Vegas in June. KEEPING IN MIND that we don't want to go to any strip clubs, hire any escorts, or get married, where are some good places to check out for:

- Good live music
- Good drinks
- Good food
- Good shows (we will be checking out Penn & Teller for certain)
- Good blackjack and poker tables

Also, is there anywhere we should work to avoid?

Should I be scared to fly on August 22?

Any inexpensive group tours? Do you know of any cheap flights? I am traveling from Columbus, OH to Lima. I want to stay a week and a half to two weeks. Unless in a tour, I will be traveling alone. Any suggestions?

I'm pressed for time in San Diego, on vacation with bf, which one or two places would you recommend that I go?

So far I have in mind: Mission Bay Beach, La Jolla, Coronado, Balboa Park, any other suggestions? I'm looking for mainly a nice beach, and somewhere really scenic and nice... Let me know what you think of these places or if you have any better ideas. Thanks!!

i just got home from california on american airlines & the stewardesses were rude the tv was broken the chairs were tiny & uncomfortable they don't give you free food & when me & my sister asked for seats together they put us on totally opposit sides of the airplane. Two 16 year olds road tripping?

My friend and I are interested in taking a road trip next summer to San Francisco from Tacoma, Washington (where we live). We know this is a long drive and she will be 17 and I will be 16 at the time. It's possible our last summer together as she will be a senior the following year and will be preoccupied with college the following summer. Do you think this is safe? We would stay on I-5 the whole way and I have a friend who manages a hotel near SF so that would be our ultimate destination. Also, how long would it take to drive to San Fran from Tacoma? Since its about 8 to Ashland, Oregon, I was thinking 16 hours?
