Who is as depressed as I am that summer is coming to an end, and has some words of encouragment?

...as i go back to uic to start my major courses.

I've been out of college since 1989. I miss it. Enjoy your time in school while you can. Before you know it you'll be working fifty hours a week and longing for the good old days. Looking back, it was great fun.

I am so depressed about it :( I have been having nightmares about going back to school on the first day and somehow my schedule got changed around to classes that had nothing to do with my major and I couldn't change them lol :) but anyway just think of it this way its not too long until we get a long weekend for Labor Day lol :) Good Luck!

I'm sorry you're depressed, but don't think of it in terms of the drudgery of school,.....think of it as autumn being a very beautiful season and it isn't as hot anymore, and keep in mind that with each day you are one day closer to graduation. Hang in there. I still have a year and a half before graduation....and that's with a baby on the way. If I can think positive, you can too.

I dont feel bad about it, but im nervous or something because in just this week I have gained five pounds. We go back to school on the 23.

it'll be halloween in 2ish months.. then XMAS... then newyears... then you got this span of time.. before you know it there'll be a big snow.. you'll hate it.. then the days start getting longer... then the sun moves to the summer position on the horizon then it gets warmer.. warmer.. then you gotta spring foward the clocks then it's memorial day then it's the beach then it's the 4th of july then it's labor day then it's school again nooo!

You dont have to be depressed.Come to australia BABY DO WE HAVE SUMMER all year long ??????????10,876 beaches some as much as 125Km long but finish your study first good luck ??
