Travel - 25 July 2006

I am planning a family trip 36,35,& 8 yrs. from Philly to Colorado (fly) then a road trip from Colorado to the Grand Canyon then on to Vegas. I'm looking for suggestions for places to stay, things to see and do in each area and along the road. Any suggestions would be appreciated! We are looking to head out at the end of June 2007.

I have heard from a frient that there is a site where you place a bid (any bid) for a few selected hotels in the US and CAN. The hotel can then reject or accept your bid. You end up paying so much less. For example 46$/night insted of 140$/night at a Holiday inn
