I saw an episode of the (New) Twilight Zone, that posed this same question. A girl went back into history, to the time when Hitler was a baby, she was given the job of being his nanny. Her idea was to smother him with a pillow, and kill him (as a baby) so he would not grow up and cause the deaths of thousands of Jew's.
My history change would be exactly this. The death of one person, who we know to be horribly evil, that would save so many people.
But it makes you wonder, if you change one thing, does the ripple effect change many things? Or if Adolph Hitler was killed before he could kill, would there of just been someone else, to committ those same crimes??? Who knows!
Good luck with an answer!!!

I would do two separate things... One is go back to the time just after I was born and set up an investment account making moves based upon market activity that I knew to be true so that by the time I was 20 I would have a ton of loot (I would also bet on sports).... Two I would help stop horrendous crimes like the manson muders, 9/11 & the DC area smiper attacks, etc. Help keep the American people & the world safe.

I would go back to November 22, 1963 and take along some quality photographic equipment and photograph Lee Harvey Oswald assassinating Kennedy so that I could show all the morons who think there was some elaborate conspiracy how wrong they have been all these years.

If I could go back in time I wouldn't want to change anything but to live the life like they did back then for a little while. The time I would chose is the Renaissance.

I'd go to Egypt when Mark Antony was there and stop the burning of the Library of Alexandria if I could - think of all the ancient knowledge and records lost... It was truly a tragedy.

I would love to go to the time of ancient Egypt. They were one of the most advanced ancient civilizations. When I see the things they accomplished with the very little they had, it amazes me. I would love to stand at the foot of the temples and pyramids when they were in their full beauty and glory. I would like to see their everyday lives. I am impressed by their knowlegde and capapbilities.
