You need to check with the individual airline about their policies. Below is a link to United Airlines and American Airlines. Other airlines have different rules. Below those links are links to other major airlines. You can check them and find the similar links for baggage. I am sorry this is not a simple answer, but there is no simple answer.

Here's a few no no's, weapons of any sort, knives, lighters, mace, pepper spray, scissors over four inches from the middle part that holds them together, power tools, hand tools over seven inches, golf clubs, bats, etc. If there's a specific thing you want to know about the TSA web site has a list. www.tsa.gov. As for nail clippers and matches, yes they are allowed, as long as the matches are not strike anywhere and no more than four books. If they say otherwise, challenge them, tell them to get out their SOP.

That is difficult to say.. Ares you flying first(business class) or economy class? If Bulsiness, you can bring on three bags and one carry on..if economy class, you can bring on two bags and one carry on.. You cannot bring on lighters, no book matches even though some say you can, no weapons, inflammables, etc. To find out more on this.. go to aa.com(that is for American Airlines) and check in the section dealing with baggage and it will tell you what is allowed and not

Nothing sharp not even nail clippers
I would call the 1-800 number for the airline you are flying on and ask they will be able to tell you or even email you a list

Aside from the obvious such as weapons and drugs, you can't bring a lighter, fruit (depends upon location) or scissors. Oh, and be prepared to take off your shoes when going through security in the airport.

what's the criminal smoking age the position you stay? that would want to be more effective of a question than no matter if you may take them on a flight or no longer. yet convinced, those of smoking age are allowed to carry them on board, yet no lighters, suits.

go to your airports website they will give you a list of what is not allowed in the airport. This list changes so frequently it is the only way to know for sure.
