Don't people have the right to hate things that their country has done? That their president has done in the name of their country? How many innocent civilians have died because of this countries actions? Soldiers? Nations made even poorer because the US stole their resources?
The USA isn't as awesome as so many people think it is. Try looking at some non-fox international news for once.

I am a long time american. On my moms side, I can trace my roots back to the revolutionary war. One of my distant relatives was a member of the lewis and Clark expedition (he was the first one to die and had a hill and river named after him).
I wanted to share that info first, as it will make it more difficult to slander me with that anti-american crap of a label.
As a longtime American with roots goijng back to this countrys' inception, it brings me NO JOY whatsoever to say the following:
THIS COUNTRY IS TOTAL BS and I cannot wait to expatriate.
I am not going to go into it at length here, but I would like to challenge the asker of this question one thing:
you say the troops are fighting for me. I would like you to prove that. I don't think the troops are fighting for me AT ALL, I think they are fighting to secure oil for major US corporations.
Please explain why you think that is wrong. Thanks.

I'm a citizen of the United States and I love my country. I don't think you have to agree with absolutely everything the government does to love the US - it's your country and it's a great one so anyone who doesn't love the US is probably being a little shortsighted.

i dont hate it but its not my favorite country in the world. people here r far too patriotic, its crazy. Oh yea, and selfish..God bless America? what about the rest of the world? ive been to nearly 50 diff countries, and lived in thailand, germany and spent part of my life growing up in iran. believe me, America is not the best country.. and btw they rnt called 3rd world countries anymore. thats very degrading and rude, they r called LEDCs and NICs. look it up.

I know that we all have a right to an opinion but it seems to me that the people who are constantly complaining do nothing to make our society better. I love the USA unconditionally. That is called patriotism.
