There must be scientific reason for that. Flying from east to west takes longer than flying from west to east WHY?

Just curious. Have been to both places and never thought about it until I noticed an answer relating to Dominica. I always thought that Dominican meant somebody from the Dominican Republic without considering how citizens of Dominica define themselves. If people from both nations use the same term for their nationality, how do they, and the rest of us, recognize the difference as to which island/country is being discussed?

We are a family of 2 adults and 2 teenagers who are spending a weekend in Amsterdam. We're looking for reasonably priced accomodation that can accomdate our family in one large room or serviced apartment. We would like to stay near museums, and preferably not in the middle of the night life action. Any recommendations are welcome!

With the success of the X-program to show that commercial space flights are feasible and with New Mexico planning on building a space port, how much demand do you believe there will really be? Will it be too expensive, or will it eventually become common?

ok so I went to merri-mac for 3 years when i was younger and there are so many rumors behind the place that it's ridiculous...take stardust cabin for instance..everyone knew it was fake but still fun to believe that the derranged campers stayed there lol.

anyway..if anyone cam find it, was it true that it was once an insane asylum before it was a camp

and, Myrtle Steps, those freaky rinky-dink stairs, about a hundred of them down one of the back ways that everyone slips on at least once...yeah..those hurt...anyways is it true that there was a girl named Myrtle who fell down them and died?

I wouldnt doubt that someone would been killed by those, they are awsful but apparently they are haunte dhow too...another thing wich iwouldnt doubt.

anyways. just wanted to know if it was really THAT interesting.

Thanks guys, much love.

didn't know how to catagorize it. the camp is in Black Mountain north carolina, not to far from the biltmore estates..or some big mansion like that.

I'm gonna fly next week with my daughter to this wonderful country (been there 10 years ago). Can anyone tell me what I can do and see there on interesting things for a kid, like beaches, places to play (beside Disneyland in Tokyo which is 3h away)? Reasonable place to stay, probably together with native families? Sorry for my bad english, I'm german ;-)

Is it tiny enough to be a big dissapointment?....
Is it possible to make your voice echo if you shout something like :
......."I paid my good MONEY to get here and went through all this TROUBLE...
Bruised my shin on the bus door....and...and THIS is all there is?
I thought it would be WAY bigger than THIS!!
WHAT an Italian RIP OFF Job!!
DON’T tell me to be QUIET! GAWDAMMIT
I’m not leaving until I get my MONEY back!
okay...alright, ....but I’m never coming back here again".

The RC church in our parish is an ancient one. The place is known for the many miracles through of intercession by Holy Virgin Mary, the patron of the parish. We are now building a model of the Holy Land in the church premises, depicting the important events and scenes from the Bible. The work is nearing completion. Many visitors including foreigners are frequently coming to visit the place. We would like to have it declared as an international tourist spot. Before we take up the matter with the concerned government authorities, we would like to know if there are any norms laid down for such declarations, so that we can assess for ourselves if the our church meets those norms.

I want to live in the us and have thought of paying several thousand to a willing man to help gain entry ,has anyone done this and how did it work out or is the hassle not worth it

Im planning on getting married in the philippines, and bring my then wife with me back to the US. The problem is that she and I do NOT want to stay in the US. She is coming back to meet my family face to face and shop for things for our new life together, and possibly work while she is here. In all we set the time we spend here to be for about 2~3 years, then we both go back home. Is it wrong to get a visitor visa and then when she is here and decides to work with me to save money, apply for any type of work visa? If we dont plan to stay in the US does she REALLY need to apply for any type of visa that would allow her to stay here permanently (sp?) if we only need two years? I need help as I'm pulling hair out right now
