I want to live comfortably on a moderate income (not rich, not poor). I love the ocean, but enjoy the mountains and the desert as well. Where have you moved upon retirement or where would you retire to - and why?

I went to Europe about 6 months ago but I didn't buy all the patches from all the countries I was in and now I want them to complete my purse. (you know, those patches that you can sew onto things). I didn't get one from Germany, Austria, or Belgium. The thing is I want the name of the country on the patch and in the origional language. For example, I want the Germany flag and at the top I want it to say Deutchland, and for Austria, Osterreich, and Belgique or whatever for Belgium. I don't want the english names, I just want the flag and the name of the country in their language. But is there anywhere I can buy these , maybe on the net, when I'm not in Europe? Thanks so much!!

Wanna shop for general things like apparels, perfumes, electronics, as well as anything else (including local specialities, if any). Please suggest retail outlets, and not websites as i would be staying in hotels.

Do you need special permission? If so, where do you get it or what do you have to do. Cuba is a tourist destination from Canada. Would I be able to enter from Canada or would this be against our governments regulations?

A friend is looking for long-term housing (2-3 months maximum) near the water, nothing fancy, or expensive, but safe and clean.

Needed sometime in December through March, condo/townhouse, what do you suggest? Bringing one small well-behaved pet. She's a writer, are there writer's retreats maybe? She can housesit, has done that in the past.

I am going to be opening up a few hotels in the next few years... and I am wanting to know .. what would YOU like to have in your hotel? Brighter colors? Bigger t.v's? Larger towels? Larger Bath tubs? Better beds? Different furniture? Bigger breakfast nooks? Wider selection of dirty movies? Cleaning service that speaks English as the primary language? Room service? ...
