I've been reading a lot of posts warning people not to travel to the city in late August (which sucks, 'cause that's when summer school ends for me), but is early September any better in terms of crowdedness, humidity, site closures, etc? i live in san ramon, california. I'm not exactly sure wheres the closest airport but i think it might be oakland and I am trying to get to st.louis, missouri this summer. i searched american airlines on yahoo but i don't know how to use the website to find out what the cost would be. so can anybody find out for me? ill give u the maximum points, oh and i don't care if its in the morning or afternoon if it asks. i plan on going sometime this month or the beginning of july and iono when im coming bak maby the end of aguaust.

We went on a Carnival© Cruise through Italy, Spain, France and Croatia. We were nickeled and dimed for everything. Some of these charges were not in their booklet they send you, so you don't know what your getting yourself into. For example, they charged 5 euros for a shuttle into downtown Venice. And, don't even think about using your mini bar in the stateroom. I mean, 4 bucks for a Coke, I don't think so! And if you wanna play bingo, 10 bucks for a card. ONE CARD! C'mon thats rediculous. And a shore excursion costs at least $200 for the three that was in my group, which is outrageous. Does anyone else agree with me?

A male friend of mine has met a woman on the internet from the Phillipines. He has sent her money for her Visa and has reserved a 1 way plane ticket. She claims that the man at customs said she needs to show $1200 cash in order to be able to come to the US. Has anyone ever heard of this? I would hate to see him taken advantage of....

If my friend's surname is Rossi but his mother's maiden name is Loredana Francoli, what do I call her? Signora Rossi, Signora Francoli, Signora Loredana?? My 5 month old and I (25) will be relocating to New Orleans were I have a job.If I can't find a job in Houston in the medical field Im a surgical tech.
