I notice that in some states and provinces, the cars do not have front license plates. Are they required in Ontario?

UPDATE:

well after several responses it's obvious we are not allowed to not have front license plates in Ontatrio! URGH! There so ugly! And the one I have on now is scratching the front of the car (the car isn't designed for a front license plate)

That darn Toronto! If it wasn't for them, you could remove your front plate, while you are visiting, and stop scratching your car!

This is my attempt at trying to read between the lines of what you are really trying to say! Based on your biases, this is the best I could do!

Nice infomercial!

Yes and they are required to be displayed on both the front and back of a car.

its_all_ab0ut_meh: Feel better now that you've sent that idiotic email? I couldn't respond to you via email so I'll post it here.

Yes! You get a nice fine if you are caught with your plates not showing properly (or at all lol).
