I'm looking for opinion here.
Why should a certain person or group be excluded?
Should we limit the type of weapon that can be carried?
Should CC be federalized and a national permit issued?

Who can tell me what is a good buy. I want it mostly as a deterrent, so pump action, and if I ever have to use it i want non-lethal. Also, are rubber batons legal in NY? I think so but not sure. Tight on funds so ideally around 200 but could go up to 3 or 4.

I have some 12 gauge ammo--No. 4 Buck, 27 pellets, 1325 fps, 2 3/4 inch shell, marketed as Law Enforcement Buckshot. What is this ammo designed for? What's the effective range? Is it OK for hunting use?

I'm looking for a complete list of hanguns that come in .17 caliber.

I've looked on Gunbroker and Guns America, but I'm sure there are more than what's listed on those sites.

Thanks in advance.

I am going hunting for the 2007 muzzleoader season next weekend, I have one question. I have a CVA Buckhorn 209 Magnum .50 cal, and I do not have a scope. So how can I be sure that the rear sight on the sight ramp is properly adjusted so I can shoot accurately. Ranges will be no farther than 100 yards. Thanks

Check out the waterfoul proclamation in Utah.
It is called a Wilson Snipe, and there is a season for these shore birds. I use as photo of one and have regular "Snipe Hunts" here at my work. We hand out prizes to those who find the Photo of the Snipe! Fun.
You should see the look on faces of new employees whan we ask them if they would like to get a snipe hunting license for our game.

Here in the UK, USA made rifle ammo is getting dificult to obtain, suppliers have long back-order lists. This aplies to compnents also, and includes 22RF. We are being given the excuse/reason that all production facilities are being used to supply the military in Iraq, and that when ammo will be available, it will be at a greatly increased price.
Are you guys having the same problem in the states, or is there something more to this ?
