this is a full auto trigger sear to people who have a tax stamp or FFL. i thought that even if you did have one of those you could not have a firearm made to fire in full auto if it was made past 1986 or something

I would like to begin deer hunting. I am almost 24, and all I have ever done was fish as a kid. Heights weird me out, but if I was tied at the tree stand I would be ok. I don't have time to practice shooting now, but in the near future I will. It just seems like something I'd enjoy doing.

i specifically DO want a revolver, because i already own a 9mm semi-auto.

i'd rather not spend more than $400 - $450max on it,
and i am open to getting just about any caliber.

i was leaning towards a .357 but will consider all of my options.
Thank you. =) =) =)

Hey I am curious if anyone could tell me how well a 3 1/2" 00 Buck would do stopping an animal? I was told it would tear a cougar or bear in half by the sales guy but I am going into a hostile area and I am wanting to make sure. I also carry 2 3/4" slugs that have a ballistic tip which I was told would puncture a bears skull with ease. Should I favor one of these rounds over the other? I prefer to have the 00 in the chamber but should I follow that with the slug or stick with 00's all the way? I know there are bears around in the area but possibly other things that would like to eat me so I want to make sure I come back! Thanks in advance for any advice.
Oh and I'm carrying one of Benelli's tactical guns.

Obviously, I am a novice hunter but have never understood this. I know the orange is to avoid being shot by fellow hunters. I assume most game are color blind but if so, why does the color patterns in camo wear matter? Just curious.

I plan to reload and will use spire point ammo then which shouldn't jam, but mean while the factory round nose is jamming. Is this typical?

I've come across these 1911's lately. Anyone out there have opinons on them? Are they quality pistols? Where are they made?
I want a 1911 somewhat like what AO's 1911's and Springfield's GI, but I'd prefer one made in the United States.
Any suggestions for what to look into are welcome.

Ok so a me and a pal of mine use to use our 8th grade biology books as "bullet proof vests". One of use would hold the book in front of us and let the other shoot the book with a 22lr.

Yeah, its stupid and there were a few close calls. But you should have seen the look on the biology teachers face when he demanded we bring in our books, so we brought them and told him what we did lol

Anyone else THAT stupid when they were in their teens?

Please no lectures, I know it was stupid... just want to share some stupid stories
