Unsure as to where to look for a pistol of that calibre...did you mean a pistol that LOOKS like a .45 ?

The caliber of a firearm is the fractional measurement of an inch of the diameter of the round. Thus a 50 caliber is 1/2 inch in diameter and a 45 caliber is .05 inches smaller.
I have never in my life seen an air gun that would fire a projectile that large. It is an interesting idea though. It would be possible however the energy needed to fire it would make it just as deadly as a normal firearm. It would most likely loose inertia very quickly though and thus have a VERY short range.

all paintball guns fall into that size range, and can be bought at any walmart. better guns are at more expensive outlets. most paintball guns can be wielded one-handed, but only a few are actually pistols.
