This is a quick question for those of you who love to hunt.
I'm 18 years old and just now taking my hunting exam (online).
I'm in the 4th chapter (Shooting Skills).
I can't get past this question and NEED help.
Here is the question.....

1) Which skills help you shoot better with a shotgun? Check all that apply.

[] slap the trigger
[] squeeze the trigger
[] hold your breath
[] leading your target
[] stand like a boxer
[] first bring your gun to your shoulder
[] first bring the gun to your cheek

Please help, which ones do I choose? I've been stuck on this question nearly an hour.

I am looking to buy a handgun and found this site R&RArms.com. They have the best prices. I was wondering if anyone has bought anything from them and how was the transaction? Just making sure they are legit.

It costs a fortune to go hunting these days. All the equipment you have to buy, the license, etc. Then they only limit what you can hunt and when. And when a car hits a deer and the 2 kids inside the car die, what do the authorities say? NOT ENOUGH HUNTERS!!!! YOU THINK!!!

I have a generic one-size-fits-many inside-the-pants holster for my S&W 6906 but it is not a very secure fit. Anyone know of an off-the-shelf holster made specifically for this gun?

I am buying a gun and the guy said that he will throw in a red dot scope or the regular cross hairs. I was wondering what the pros and cons are of both these scopes. Also if you could tell me how they are to use and which is better in your own opinion. Thanks

I would like to know what the value of my Colt M1911A1 Argentine Modelo 1927 which was produced in Argentina under contract from Colt shortly after 1928 during WWII. The pistol was manufactured by
F M A P a reputable gun manufacturer in Argentina. Argentina first bought 10,000 M1911A1s from Colt before producing more under contract. The pistol is interchangeable with the M1911A1 made by Colt since it was produced to be just like the one's made by Colt under contract . It's serial number is 35367 so that tells me that is was one that was produced under the contract and not made in the USA by Colt. The handgun is in fairly good shooting condition. This article second paragraph shows some of this information http://www.gunblast.com/RKCampbell_Modelo1927.htm some of the other info I posted was found elsewhere. So if anyone knows what the value of this handgun is I would really appreciate any input.

Thank You,

Eric Weeks

Ok, so I recently bought a new Magnum Research Baby Eagle compact in 9mm about, say, 3 months ago. This very first time I shot it was about 3 weeks after that. I was using BLAZER Ammuniton and it shot great, no jams, no anything bad; I shot 100 rounds thru it. So the next time I take it out is about 1 month after that. I shot 78 rounds of Winchester White Box ammo. It had one jam, and two or three failures of the slide to go all the way forward. That happened within the first 40 rounds. After that it once again shot flawlessly.

So then today I take it out with some more Winchester White Box ammo and shoot 130 rounds through it. Within the first 50 rounds, it had one hard jam and about 2 flaiures of the slide to go all the way forward. After that it ONCE AGAIN shot flawlessly.

I am skeptical about using BLAZER 9mm ammunition because I heard it wasn't too good for your pistol. Something about being bad for the extractor or something? Is this the fault of my Baby Eagle or is it

I would like to assemble a 200 yard tack driver. Prefer a 30 caliber, IE 30-06, 308, etc. I don't mind buying the base rifle and adding/having work done over time to get it there. It'll be for deer and eventually hunting trips out west. I have a Winchester Model 70 in 30-06. Is this suitable platform to start with or should I sell it and start over?

Why doesn't the army switch sidearms for our troops from the Beretta 92 to the Glock 17. The Glock is more reliable, lighter weight, and can hold 2 extra rounds. Is it because the Glock is polymer and not all steel? And with all the things I hear about something breaking in the Beretta (I forgot what it was) over in Iraq, I think it's time for a change. Look at these torture tests of the weapons on youtube:
