the price $525 including transfer fee
and want conceal permit and single w/no kids in house ever and as far as trigger all come w/5lb but most are really 4.5lb and you can now get a trigger block 4 $7.00
its kinda a 1/4 moon shape you put behind trigger & when readdy to fire you just push it out 8ish lbs of pressure
& your good togo just let the gaurd hit the ground find it later they( gaurd) come in black but i guess you could paint it Flor/orange or a new 1 at $7.00 & don't want a heavy gun to carry somthing light w/PUNCH oh yeah love rifle s what i shoot most havent shot a hand in 5 years so seven of ten aint so bad?????

Glock 23 would make an OK carry gun but you my have some control issues. The gun is kinda small and light for the .40 S&W. I'm sure if you were willing to put in the practice time it would do just fine though. I carry the Glock 19 and compete with a 17 and I love both of mine.

If the price is right go for it. Glock is a good pistol just stay outta the trigger guard until you're ready to shoot and don't store or carry in a holster that doesn't cover the trigger. Don't store loaded in the original Glock box and don't throw loaded in a purse or drawer full of clutter unless its secure in a holster covering the trigger.

A police sergeant friend of mine has one (not a camo) and the first time at the range she sliced her hand open with the slide. It is kinda small to hold onto and of course, the .40 cal. is intense for the size. Just hold it right and you should be alright.

Best.

The Glock 23 is sort of small for the 40S&W caliber, but if you are willing to spend the money to practise on a regular basis go for it. Personnally, I prefer the 9mm because the ammo is much cheaper and I can get twice the practise for nearly the same price. And everyone that says the 9mm isn't enough won't volunteer to take one +p Gold Dot in the chest.

If the great price is under $100 it would be ok, Glock is not a good quality gun, try a S+W or a Springfield Armory.... my friend brought a glock to the firing range it was horrible, he got rid of it and bought a SA 40 cal... big difference.

I'm not a Glock fan, but the gun is a decent and reliable gun. 'Course, I don't know what you are calling a "GREAT PRICE". It has been my experience that as soon as you buy something, it will go on sale elsewhere for far less.

Glocks look and feel like squirt guns. Buy a high-quality American gun instead.

Buy cheap, buy twice.

If you like the finish, that is fine, I prefer plain black.
