Firearms haven't been allowed on Ebay for quite some time now. The newest restrictions resulted from the Virginia Tech massacres, because the Korean suspect "Cho" purchased magazines for his Walther pistol he used in the murders. As of August 15th 2007 Ebay no longer allows firearms parts, magazines, stocks, grips, springs, or Quote "Any firearm part that enables a firearm of any kind to shoot." That was just the straw that broke the Camel's back, and there has been a massive number of people that refuse to shop or sell on Ebay as a result. Pretty sad actually.......
FYI Robbie..Never had any reason to think you were anything other than what you described.

Robbie,
Check out Gunbroker.com They are the ebay of the gun world. The "seller" has to ship firearms to FFL license holders so all proper paperwork can be completed. I bought my last SKS that way.
ebay is a bunch of left coast libs. Any time you see an address in the Kommunist Peoples Republik of Kalifornia expect their politics to follow their policies.

Ebay thinks it is a safety issue because they do not know the laws.
There are legal ways to sell or buy guns online.
The legal way to do it is to go through an FFL dealer. If you have an FFL dealer that you are familiar with, then you can buy a gun on a classified site like GA (gunsamerica.com) and you will be able to have it sent to you.

Guns bought on line need to be sent to the nearest ffl dealer. You can then go and pick up your weapon. Since there is no proof to Ebay that both parties are licensed for such a transfer they could be held responsible. Ebay is already dealing with fraud and criminal activity and I doubt they want to add weapons charges to the list,

The short and simple answer is that they are a privately owned company and do nt believe in gun rights and the 2nd Amendment. That is their choice, just as it s your choice whether to use the services they do offer or not

Because of left wing liberals and those who want to sell out AMERICA. They should go elsewhere and see if their right to do in a great nation is as appreciated as they like to think. DO NO BUSINESS ON E-BAY; with their line of thought they could not sell clothes because a criminal might wear clothes; nor sell any cars or parts because a criminal might use them; the world is not idiot proof and living proof of that is the people at e-bay.

Left-Coast Liberal-Fascists do not trust citizens like you with firearms.
Disarming free-thinking individuals and turning local police departments into heavily-armed para-military forces has been a time proven tactic for governments to consolidate power and take it from the population, often in the name of "public safety".
