Also, is it legal for a 15 year old to own a fixed blade knife?

I do not think anyone can walk around with an 8 inch blade in any state...Folding knife 4 or 5 inch is probably legal but check with local law...

there maybe a limit on blade lingth i live in va and the longet blade i can carry by law is 3" so i carry a folding knife(lockback) and a fixed blade both 3" im 15

u have to be 18 to buy a knive but there is no age limit to have one as long as the blade on the knive that u have on u is no more then 3 icnes

You can have any kind of knife you want to have. It doesn't matter how old you are. That doesn't mean however that you can carry them anywhere you go, such as school.

yea its not illegal just make sure that the knife isnt automatic( the kind you push a but and the blade pops up ) that type is illegal.
