I'm looking for a bolt action 12 or 20 gauge. My friend has one I can't remeber the make on it though. The only model I know of is the Savage 210. Any info would be greatly appriceited.

I hate the pople that think their theories of animal cruelty are correct. they think dog fighting is simalar to hunting? How stupid! Deer arent gambled upon and forced to kill each other! Deer are overpopulated and will eventaully starve to death if we dont hunt them, and they eat so many crops, they can ruin the yeild of one field for a year. Two years ago, my family had a 110 acre field that made less than a 65 acre field because of animals eating the corn! Coyotes and foxes are mangy animals that bother pets, and can bother livestock. I dont care how cute and cudly you think they are, let me know and i will hapily trap one, and throw it in my truck, bring it to your door step and show you excatly what i mean! Have you ever seen a squirrel in a foot trap? I caught one accidentally a year ago and it would have chewed my foot off if i let it, yet they are cute and cuddly furry little animals.

Anyone else have the same views?

im thinking about getting one and would like to know on a scale of 1-10 how much this paticular gun recoils in th .38 special caliber and .357 magnum calibers note this is a LEVER ACTION RIFLE. not a pistol

Id like to buy a rifle for protection. Im more comfortable with a rifle and because of this, a better shot with rifles. I admit I havent shot a rifle for a good 10 years, but I'd like to be prepared once the stock market crashes and we go into a massive recession, with Bush's only option to reissue a new currency and merge Canada, Mexico and the US into the American Union. Id like to be prepared and be able to guard my gold bars :)

Can anyone recommend a nice rifle, say under $200 that will work well for me? Im not into shotguns either.

Why is it okay to hunt the poor innocent deer and other animals and eat them for dinner but there is such a big deal about this dog fighting. Why is deer hunting looked at as a sport but dog fighting is a crime punishable with prison time? Is it possible that because the majority of hunters are caucasion and the people who have dog fights are minorities. They have trophies for animal hunters and some people even hand the deer heads in their living rooms. I think both are wrong and if Michael Vick has to do jail time for gog fighting, hunters should also do jail time because both are cruelty to animals.

Help me decide. I like the look of the Para Ordnance Ops and LTC. Second choice would be a Kimber. I have only used a Springfield with a full length slide, I thought it was a great gun. My father likes his S&W wich I havent yet used and friend said to get either a Colt or S&W. So I'm totally confused. I dont really like the look of these others as much but are they better guns. I realize you get what you pay for but the Colt/ S&W seem to be a bit to pricey for me. Would the shorter guns be totallt inaccurate? User reviews of any brand /style would be helpful.
