Old Fuzz covers it. You have to not only worry about noise, and your neighbors putting up with it, but you also have to be aware of all four sides of your property. Bullets don't always wind up heading in the direction they are fired. As a landowner of course you have the right to do what you wish on your own land..BUT the one exception is when your activities interfere with the lives and safety of your neighbors.
You haven't given any indication of where you live either, so the advice you were already given to contact the local police or law enforcement agency that has jurisdiction where you live. Shoot Safe and with an adequate backstop...always!

The neighbors on both sides might object to the noise. However, what about the neighbor BEHIND you??? You don't mention what your backstop is.

Call your local Sheriff and ask him. I suspect that if you have close neighbors, shooting will be restricted.

The short answer is if you are outside city ordinace than yes. But you might want to call your sherief to check if there city ordinaces, including noise pollution. And if you value your relationship with your neighbors maybe just let them know too, make sure you have a backstop!

as long as your not within city limits and your neighbors dont care it shouldnt be a problem.if i was you i would make some sort of back stop to keep the bullets on your property because you are responsible if that bullet travels off your property and hurts someone

yeah just use extreme caution and look beyond where you shoot before you shoot and use a good back stop like a pile of dirt with no rocks and don't shoot towards the houses.
