Think about it... The Jaw, one of our most powerful muscles, able to rip through flesh easily. Yet nobody seems to bite eachother when I see a fight! Sure it might taste bad... a mouth full of blood and a hunk of flesh, but don't you think that if you were in a desperate situation it would be usefull? Not to mention it would scare people out of their pants.

(This is a serious question, I really think it would be useful)

What do you think?

I am wondering what is the best way to learn self-defense at home? Are there any good books, DVD's, websites, etc...?
It doesn't have to be a martial art by the way.

This style should be quick easy and fast to use in real life. Not just on a mat or in a ring with a one on one fight

I'll be the first one to say he was fast and powerful. He deserves respect. However many of you tele-chi religious warriors claim that he is the best and greatest and no one past present or future could measure up to him. He was a MAN in fact, he DIED remember? People are in awe of his skills, but they are watching movies! with coreographed fights. I've seen Rey Mysterio do some INSANE sh!t but thats kayfabe! Then there people talking about all his fights in Hong Kong, well show me some reports, some witnesses. SOMETHING to prove you aren't just making it up.

As for who could beat him up, we will never know. He's dead. Are there people who are the Bruce Lee's of our time, DEFINITELY. They are well rounded and experienced and we HAVE SEEN them fight and win.

I mean, I do want to gain muscular mass (primarily) and strength (secondarily), but the time I spend in Martial arts (twice per week) might count against 'recovery time'...
How do you schedule both?

I am getting ready to take over the Kung Fu school where I have been practicing since the seventh grade, as my Sifu is moving. I have a copy of his waiver form, but I want to be sure it's complete. Does anyone have anything they wish they'd included in their waiver/liability forms?

This isn't about who you like or don't like, it is a question of who is going to lose their title based on ability, and their possible opponent. the next title fight that is known is
Rich Franklin vs. Anderson Silva
After that the most possible ones or Frank Neer vs. Tim Silvia,
Tito Ortiz vs Chuck Liddell, and the Matt Hughes vs. Georges St. Pierre. Who is going to lose thier belt first?

I'm thinking of taking both of the class but still undecided. The classes are 1/2 units each and two hours long, 1 day per week. Would it be a good idea to take or no? Any suggestions are welcome.

No, not literally. When "ki"/"qi"/"chi" is mentioned in MA, it conjures up a lot of different ideas for different practitioners.

What does it mean to you and how does it applie to your training.
