you gotta jump with one leg
transfer your weight from leg to leg when your running and at your jump point you give it all you got you'll gain some height
to train go on the first step in your stairwell and simply go up and down slowly standing on your tippy toes (heels off the stairs)
and you can also go against a wall and try to touch a brick (or whatever ) out of your reach
but in 7 days ?? i couldn't guarantee anything though
good luck!

whew, man I don't think that you're gonna be able to do it in 7 days, because it's gonna take more time for you to build up the muscle conditioning needed to do so.
Squats and squat thrusts are the best weight lifting techniques to train with to condition your legs and hips for the ability to jump higher, and leg lifts, leg curls and leg presses are also good techniques to use in weight lifting to help in your training..
try getting a membership at a local gym or working with a personal trainer, that'll focus on getting you where you need or want to be.

Try bending your legs a bit more before you jump...worked like a charm for me and it also increased my speed. Good luck!!!

You have to do execises to increase the strenght and the power of your legs and ankels. You can use also weights to increase muscles and to jump.
Increase also your abdominals: you have to do a lot of abdominals exercises.
