Again with this Demon guy...

A true Martial Artist is confident and confortable enough in his own skills and knowlage that he does not need to fight.
Because not all situations are unavoidable a true Martial Artist will only let themself go to the next level (physical altercations) if they are sure it is the only way of defence. And even then they will only use as much force that is nessasary to defend themselfs and stop the attacker.
And then yes afterwords most will feel unfortunate but also feel confident that they did what could not be avoided. And certainly they will not brag to people about how they kicked this drunk guys *** friday night outside the bar.

It is unfortunate for any one having to fight. the true Martial Artist may walk away or defuss the situation, other may say to heck with it and let us get busy.

Eh... depend on how you look at it. I think I was very fortunate to fight. If I didn't fight I probably would have been dead by now. Read other thread where someone ask "have you ever use your skill in real life situtation?"

On other hand it's alway very unfortunate to know that you almost become a victim (if you win and survive the fight...)

but on other hand you have to ask yourself "will those person actually think twice before mess with someone again?" You might change their life and save others life simply because you show them that if they don't change, they will get hurt or killed if they mess with wrong person one day and hopefully they take that lesson to the heart.
