The character that has to do with character traits

2007-10-18 10:41:21 · 4 answers · asked by LIL b 1

Who cares about the money it's how the Yankees handled the wholeJoe Torre situation. What don't you people understand? Don't you think that the Yankees should have handled the whole Joe Torre situation better then they did? They said that they would fire him if he lost to Cleveland then instead of firing him outright they string him along andd then lowball him to top it off. Or are you too busy thinking about the money to understand my last question?

The 'Boss' was being generous and offered him a 5 million dollar contract that would STILL make him the highest paid manager in baseball. AND HE DECLINES IT! Most people dont even make 5 million in a LIFE TIME and he could have made it in 162 days.

What an awful decision... for a manager that's supremely overrated and proven unable to win without Don Zimmer as his bench-coach... Year after year we're treated to watching Torre KILL US, kill any Yankees' chances with awful rotations, with awful RP handling (Olendorff relieving Wang, in Game 1!?) and so many pathetic moves, non-moves (not running vs. Sox in '04, not using Mussina in the 8th in Game 7 vs. D-Backs, benching Sheffield vs. Kenny Rogers, benching Giambi vs. Carmona and Byrd, etc. etc.).

If the League Series ends tonight, it will be six days until the World Series. We will have no games this weekend and people are losing interest. The season is too long to start with and allowing all these off days is crazy. I don't care if the Series starts on a Wednesday!

They are clearly the betetr team then the Indians. Varitek isbetter than Martinexz, Youk better thean Garko, Pedroids better than Cabrera, Lugo better fielder then Peralta so they ever, Lowell better thean Blake, Manny betetr then Lofton, Even in center cause Crisp is a lot better fielder, and Drew betetr then Nixon. Red Sox have betetr pitching and better bullpen. Indians are lucky. They will lose 3 stairught guanrntee is!

With talks still going on in Florida over the status of Joe Torre's job, we get ever so closer to answering the question of who captains the ship next season. But who will and who SHOULD are two different questions.

Candidates include Joe Torre (the incumbent), Don Mattingly, Joe Girardi, and Tony LaRussa. Thoughts?

Their backs are against the wall facing elimination. A crucial game. Does Beckett and Sabathia turn this game into a pitching duel?

years since 1984, he doesn't speak very well at all, and is extremely arrogant. He refers to himself in the third person, as "I'm one of the best players in the game" several times and he calls himself a "bad man" He sounds like a block head, looks like a cocky jerk. I'm surprised he even did this interview, I have never heard/seen an interview with Manny until now. He's so arrogant, he also says, "even when I'm feeling bad, I still get hits" Either he is stupid, arrogant, just doesn't know the language that well or all of the above. If he is that cocky in his native tongue Spanish, I don't think he would have many friends. He needs to tone down his ego. What do you think? Watch the clip and respond.

it's not the end of the world, there is always next year. This guy is way too carefree. If he has that attitude, then why even show up for the game. This is a crucial game, he should care, and gets paid 20 million dollars per season to care. Am I right?
