1,077 runs, 498 DB's, 174 HR's, 1,208 RBI's and .289 BA. He has only 453 K's in 9,397 At Bats, wow, that's awesome. All people can remember him for was the error in the World Series in 1986, but that shouldn't keep him from being in the Hall. He was the batting champion of the NL in 1980 and had many other awards. He should be considered for the Hall, or is it too late?

I think he choose his word wrong when he said " If we don't win, there is always next year, It's not like it's the end of the world"

As a Red Sox Fan I freakin care, Theo Epstien didn't pay your a** to say we'll get em next year... He should of said I'm goin to try my hardest and hope we beat em and if we don't, then we'll make sure we get em next year...

His comment wasn't right? Anyone Agree...

Even if the Mitchell Committee releases the names of these players, what will happen to them, nothing! The players aren't going to jail for it and besides it doesn't tell you anything. If players are tested negative then what is next? I feel that congress should be more involved in more pressing issues than wasting their time in some drug problem in baseball.

Buster Onley was on Sports Center this morning discussing the possibility that A Rod will sign with the Marlins. Isn't that counter productive for A Rod? If he wants to eventually pass Barry Bonds and become the Home Run King doesn't he need to sign with a team that has a hitter friendly ballpark?

is losing many of its true and future fans by having these long delays between playoff games and also having the games start and end so late? Not just the playoff games but during the whole season too. It's ridiculous that baseball games end after 11pm, some lasting til 1 or 2 in the morning. How many fans can stay up on a worknight to watch the ends of those? How are kids going to get interested in baseball when they can't even stay up to watch an entire game? Whatever happened to day games? Aren't the fans more important than television money?

A Cinderella Story or a Fluke?

Now I know they were tied for last in their division last year and that now they've won 21 out of 22 games BUT....

If you compare this to NFL last year the New Orleans Saints went to the NFC Conference Championship Match with like a 10-6 record and lost in the Conference but it was a huge improvement compared to the year before when they were the second last team in the league with a 3-13 record HOWEVER...

Now they are playing horrible football and are 1-4 so might this just happen to the Rockies and be a good season on the verge of descending.
