I believe you're John Hart, formerly GM of the Indians and Rangers. The guys you groomed are:

Mark Shapiro - Indians
Doug Melvin - Brewers
Jon Daniels - Rangers
Josh Byrnes - Diamondbacks

The former GM you groomed is ex-Dodgers GM Paul DePodesta, who did scouting for the Tribe before becoming an assitant to the general manager.
