What is the media going to say about a bunch of stand-up guys who are focused on winning and not what is going on in the other clubhouse. The Indians refused to give Manny's antics any credence and never retaliated or even thought about doing so. They are a class organization - which might make them a little boring. There are no pre-madonnas to follow and no ridiculous quotes from the players. They are all business and lets hope it all ends tonight so we can say "GoodBye" to another east coast group of players that you cannot even call a Team.

The Red Sox are still getting attention because, frankly, they still have a chance to win.

If (that's if) they beat CC Sabathia tonight, the Sox will be down 3 games to 2 with the last two games at home in Boston. Fausto Carmona struggled in Boston in Game 2, so the Sox could possibly beat him in Game 6 if the offense backs up Curt Schilling (if, in fact, he is the starter). Then, it would come down to Game 7, where anything can happen.

I'm rooting for the Tribe, but the Sox can find themselves back in it with a win tonight.

because whether you want to face it or not, the Red Sox are a more popular team. More articles about them will get more people reading.

Save to say that MLB would have prefered the Yankees, Red Sox, Mets, Dodgers, Giants, Braves, etc. to be in the World Series from a business standpoint. The Rockies and Indians will not draw the national attention. More attention will be give to what Arod decides to do than the World Series itself.

The Red Sox always get a lot of media attention. Maybe it helps that they share common ownership with the paper of record? The way Cleveland has played so far is the real story, though.

I think because Boston was favored to win & more popular but I am rooting for the Tribe only in this series, then I think Colorado willl win World Series. Many Cleveland fans(all sports) say they get no respect but until some major sports teams brings home a championship to Cleveland, it will be like that. The fans of Cleveland teams I will admit are probably the most loyal fans in all sports.

Same reason when Tiger Woods finishes 15th the headline doesnt talk about the winner, it would say something like Tiger Flops.

The media is biased towards certain teams and people.

For the same reason that after the Indians embarrassed the Yankees all you saw were Torre articles. Media idiots. Focus on the big market, that's where the paycheck is.

Because the sports writers can't stop arguing about who will win. So they take their anger out in the Paper. =]
