I don't miss Thome at all. I hate the way he left Cleveland - for more money. If he is still a quality player and he came back and took a pay cut then maybe the Indians fans will forgive him but until then, don't care to ever see him in an Indians uniform again. (oh and if he apologized for lying to us! about how much he wanted to stay in Cleveland!)
I like our players we have now. I think they are making the game real fun right now. Hope to have fun tonight when we beat the Sox!!!!

missed by who? you are the only person I have heard of saying that Thome is missed. Ryan Garko wears #25 in Cleveland now and that is just fine by me. The Indians lost nothing because they have Hafner. I do not want Thome back in Cleveland. He said he wanted to retire in a Cleveland uniform and he lied. Once you lied to the fan base, I do not think you should be welcomed back. To answer your question: no, he will never be a player for the Cleveland Indians again.

I like Thome a lot and I miss him. but I doubt he will be back...Cleveland has younger and less expensive good bats now, the way of rebuilding thru the farm system works well for them..if they want to go after a free agent it will be a position player or pitcher, not an over the hill dh. Cleveland offered him a good contract, just wasnt as good as the Phillies, he had a chance to stay in Cleveland if he had wanted to. enjoy the memories of Thome, I do, but with Pronk and Garko, he wont be back

No. And actually he is not missed. Ryan Garko and Travis Hafner more then make up for Jim Thome. I wouldn't trade Trot Nixon for Thome's services.

No way, not with Hafner. Thome at this stage in his career is a huge injusry risk that a young very good Cleveland team would not waste it's money on. Hafner is there DH anyway and neither one is very good in the field.

I don't think so, and I really don't miss him at all, we have several options at 1st base. Garko, Hafner, or Victor can even play first when Shoppich catches any of which are better than Thome is now. He just isn't as good as he was nothing against him, it happens when you get older.

It's not likely...the Indians would never pay him what he wants (and what he thinks he's worth); besides that, they have Hafner and Garko (who wears Thome's old number), so they don't need him.

I could see him in a Cleveland Uni, by not as a player. Maybe as a first base coach, or hitting coach.
