I think it would be a good move for the Sox. You could still re-sign Lowell at 3B and move Alex back to SS, which is his natural position. Keep him in Boston for the next 10-12 years, they will sell so many Rodriguez jerseys, they will make their money back on that alone, plus that will make Manny want to stay and Ortiz, they all speak Spanish, and the Red Sox will become the new Yankees dynasty and win 4-6 championships during these years.

I'm a yankee's fan and would want to see that. It could be cool. Arod will help the Yanks more in the Post season with the Sox than him with the Yanks. He can't hit.
Boston bought their championship as well. How many people from their system did they have that year? Actually, which team hasn't bought one in the last 20+ years? Most of the guys are players from outside of their own systems. Look into it!

Nah, the Red Sox take on a slightly more reasonable approach, and re-up Mike Lowell for 3-4 years at a more fiscally responsible rate.

they learned there lesson with manny they will not be handing out 10 year deals! maybe he will get a 5 years deal at 33 mil a year!!! I do not think we sign lowell for more then one year contracts!! Anyways i hardly doubt he comes to the sox but i would love to see it!!! Ortiz manny arod lowell i wouldnt want to be a starting pitcher :)!!

I'd love to see it happen, but as a sox fan I agree with Adam I believe we will re-sign Mike Lowell 3-4yrs.
